Mage Quest

Mage Quest is a 2D top-down loot driven RPG game. The gameplay is inspired by great games of the likes of Diablo, Hero Siege and World of WarCraft.

Features:
8 quests, some with different choices and outcomes!
16 unique abilities to try out, all with visual effects and sounds!
12 different maps each with its own taste to explore!
82 unique items with stats, descriptions and rarities from common to legendary!
180 talents (WIP), part of a huge talent tree that allows for vast customizations

Gameplay:
Explore open-like maps ranging from 50x50 to 500x500 and find hidden treasures. Find better items and levelup to do more damage and take on stronger foes. Speak with NPC's to get quests and deafeat all two bosses in the game!
After you're done monsterslaying you can sell your unwanted items and trade them for new ones or buy new spells!

Drag and drop spells from your skills panel to your hotbar. (shift+click to remove)
Zoom in and out in the world map with scrollwheel

Originally it started out as just a small hobby project of mine but it lead me on a journey to both learn Java and make a fun game!
